I can’t explain it exactly, but somehow the way the light was trying to “escape” from the clouds here — twisting and squirming its way into sight – reminded me of the devil and how hard he works at trying to convince us to stray from our Lord.
This picture reminds me that sin is everywhere and that I must always stay close to the Lord and be watchful. Sin can creep up on you from what seems like nowhere and at any time in your life – even when you are confident in your relationship with Christ. Our sin nature is always waiting to rear its ugly head, though – vigilance is the key to staying right with God. Plug all the gaps and do not let sin creep through your “armor.”
