This early morning scene brought to mind how wild the sky must have looked when God was first beginning His creation. There is a wildness about it that suggests a barely ordered world emerging from nowhere – from everywhere – from the mind of the Most High God. That is what I see when I look at it, anyway.
The awesome and powerful God who separated light out of the darkness and began our world desires a relationship with you. Can you believe it? It seems impossible, but it is true. He is approachable, not distant; He is loving, not cruel; He wants what is best for you. Seek Him in the light and in the darkness. He will never leave you.
