We had traveled several hundred miles back “home” for my mother’s 90th birthday celebration and were staying at the home of one of my brothers in the midst of farming fields in the “Treasure Valley” near Caldwell, Idaho. As we prepared our evening meal, I glanced out the kitchen window, then promptly ran for my camera. I never get tired of photographing sunsets – each is different in its own way.
No matter where we are, we may be sure that God is there with us and that He is in control – even when we travel from the mountains to the “flatland.” Even when we travel farther from “home” than we’ve ever been. There is no place beyond God’s reach.
